Explorer doesn't see new files or folders until F5/refresh
It's rarely used by anyone that I know of, and simply takes up space. There is no Slicer on the Toolbar. There is a File > Export > Image Slicer menu item. Don't they in you case? 7. Browser functionality. Although you can create and rename folders through the file browser, you cannot delete folders.

Oh yes, with the Finder out of the picture, you might see what information ResEdit can give you on the folder - don't suppose it'll help particularly, but you never know. Maybe you'll be able to rename the folder which might help (random twiddling of knobs is occasionally beneficial in situations like this).

Sure "Joe" is friendlier than "Joe02", but without any indication that a user name is really "Joe02" you can go nuts trying to figure out why you can connect to a shared folder or BCM. Another problem with the above, is that as far as I can tell, the Home editions don't give you any tools to manage those details.

Anyone know of a good (free) backup program that can backup pictures and text files? With Vista Home Premium's backup, I can't see a way to pick and choose which I tend not to rename photos or folders... Could the folder be empty because you had renamed a folder and the empty folder was the "old" folder?

OT EQ5 file problems
Can't do that anymore. I get an error message that says "C:\Documents cannot be found." I get the option to send a message to Microsoft (no comments about getting a MAC instead please), and it indicates something about an MFC file. Anyone else having this problem?
